Final Shipping Inspector
Portsmouth designer and manufacturer of enabling technologies is currently seeking a Final Shipping Inspector to join their team. This position requires high attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
Responsibilities of this role:
Performing mechanical inspection, of the completed product, to verify compliance with the Customer's drawings, specifications, and contract.
Validation that all Customer quality requirements have been met by reviewing in-process inspection, assembly, and test records.
Creation of Objective Quality Evidence document packages for presentation to the Customer.
Frequent interface with customer source inspectors, during their performance of source inspection.
Requirements of the Final Shipping Inspector:
High School Diploma or equivalent
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in the Manufacturing/Quality field.
Experience with contract/purchase order requirements review a plus.
Ability to apply common sense in performing a job
Ability to understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to use basic high school math skills
The Final Shipping Inspector is a Monday - Friday position with a 7:00 am - 3:30 pm schedule. This is a long-term opportunity, pay is DOE.
