POSITION SUMMARY
Marketing Technical Graphic Designer is responsible for the design, messaging and maintenance of all creative aspects for the MadgeTech brand with a strong focus on graphic and presentation development. Maximizing all media including print, product labeling, packaging, advertising and online representation of MadgeTech worldwide. The Marketing Technical Graphic Designer will report to the Marketing Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
•        Design and update product documentation; this includes but is not limited to literature that supports product sales and post-sales support.
•        Design and contribute to graphic user interface development for software and relevant products.
•        Design and contribute to the company website and all other online entities including but not limited to microsites, social media and directories.
•        Product photography and image manipulation.
•        Design posters, brochures, graphics and other trade show related materials.
•        Guide design imagery and content for e-newsletters, press releases and social media posts.
•        Contribute to creative solutions for product design, promotion and packaging.
•        Provide support to the Marketing Team as needed to meet deadlines and balance workload.
•        Research identify and interface with third party vendors and resources as needed.
•        Outline and manage the organization and storage of all electronic and hard copy creative materials for the Marketing department.

Skills
•        Fluent working knowledge of industry standard graphic design tools and continual exploration of new and improved methods of creative development.
•        Organizational skills, along with attention to detail, having the ability to record, track and organize all materials in a consistent manner. The right candidate will demonstrate the aptitude and desire to maintain or devise processes that enable others to easily find and consume material.
•        Minimum of 3 years' experience with graphic design software and an instinct for basic design principals. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite applications for image editing, publication layout and illustration at minimum.
•        Knowledge of principles and methods for branding, presenting, promoting, and selling of products or services. Familiarity with primary marketing channels and results analysis.
•        Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar. Creative or technical writing experience a plus.
•        A comfortable level of experience using and adapting to new software tools and the ability to interpret technical specifications and product information.
•        A comprehension of technical product specifications is required to create effective, engaging content.
•        The ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing.
•        The ability to communicate information and ideas in writing so others will understand.
•        Knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods. This includes alternative ways to inform and entertain via written, oral, and visual media.
•        Continue learning, training and communicate interests for skill building.


Notes
Education: BA/BS degree preferred. Three to five years of writing experience in a technical field preferred. Experience with CMS preferred.
