This position works with the South Central NH Public Health Network and surrounding communities to ensure that all necessary partners for the development of a comprehensive continuum of care for addressing substance use issues aligns with the regional Community Health Improvement Plan. These partners should include substance use Prevention, Intervention, Treatment, and Recovery providers, healthcare and behavioral health providers, and other interested or affected parties.
This is a full time salaried position, 32 hours per week. This position is funded by an external community partner; continued year to year funding is contingent upon the network contract status.
Major Functional Areas and Description of Duties:
Strengthen partnerships through collaborative and educational events, meetings, and other networking opportunities.
Facilitate work groups to help identify gaps in resources to address substance use prevention, intervention, treatment, and recovery.
Work with BDAS and its technical assistance resources to ensure that all partners have access to information, training and/or technical assistance necessary for them to understand and fully participate in continuum of care development discussions and planning.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
Must have the ability to sit at computer and use keyboard for data entry;
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to be able to drive to community locations for network meetings, as the majority of the work is performed within the community.
